Koen De Leus

Koen De Leus (born in 1969 in Bonheiden) graduated in Commercial Science from the Saint Aloysius Economics High School (EHSAL). He worked as an analyst for Uitgeversbedrijf Tijd, the publishing company behind De Tijd and L’Echo, from 1998 till 2006. During the last two years he served as Chief Economist.

From 2006 to July 2012, Koen served as a Market Strategist at Bolero, the online broker of KBC Securities, before moving over to take up the post of Senior Economist at the parent company KBC in August 2012.  Since September 2016 he is Chief Economist at BNP Paribas Fortis. He is also a guest lecturer in ‘Behavioral Finance’ on the Investment Management programme at EHSAL Management School.

On a regular basis, Koen is invited on radio or television programs on channels such as VRT and Kanaal Z  to discuss economic affairs Furthermore, his name is often mentioned in the financial and specialised press.

Koen published his first book in 2006 entitled ‘Naar Grijsland’ an in-depth analysis of the social and economic consequences of an ageing population. This book was one of the three œuvres nominated for the ABN Amro price for best non-fiction book of the year.

In 2012 he published Gouden Beursleuzen, a book that dives mostly into the behavior of stock investors. In June 2017, Koen published his 3^rd book about the digital revolution and its economic and social impact on our society : “The Winners' Economy: Challenges and opportunities of the digital economy”.

Vincent Juvyns, Executive Director, is global market strategist in Europa. Hij is verantwoordelijk voor het verschaffen van marktgerelateerde en economische analyses aan klanten in de Benelux, Frankrijk en Genève via ons Market Insights-programma.

Voordat hij bij J.P. Morgan Asset Management in 2013 in dienst trad, was Vincent Juvyns onderzoeksanalist bij de multi-asset-groep van ING Investment Management, waar hij

fundamenteel onderzoek verrichtte en verantwoordelijk was voor het communiceren van de groepsstrategie naar klanten en de pers.

Vervolgens fungeerde hij als productspecialist en later als portefeuillebeheerder binnen

de vastrentende afdeling van ING. Vincent Juvyns heeft de mastertitel Business & Financial Sciences behaald aan het Institut Catholique des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (ICHEC) te Brussel.

An Steegen (°1971) is member of the Board of Directors of Barco NV since April 2017. Dr. Steegen holds a Ph.D. in Material Science and Electrical Engineering from the Catholic University of Leuven, KUL, in collaboration with the Interuniversity Microelectronics Center, imec, in Belgium.

She joined IBM Semiconductor R&D in Fishkill, New York, in 2000. As R&D director and executive of IBM’s International Semiconductor Alliance, she was responsible for IBM’s advanced logic semiconductor development. In 2011, she rejoined imec in Belgium. As Executive Vice President, she was in charge of imec’s Semiconductor Technology & Systems division. Dr. Steegen is a recognized leader in semiconductor R&D and an acclaimed and inspiring thought leader in innovation in the IoT and digitalization era.

In 2018, Dr. An Steegen joined Umicore as Chief Technology Officer, responsible for the company’s overall innovation strategy. In this role, An was in charge of Umicore’s R&D in the areas of clean mobility materials, recycling and sustainability and responsible for Umicore’s new business incubation in adjacent and new opportunity markets. She also served as Executive Vice President of the Electro-Optical Materials and Metal Deposition Solutions business units.

Since 2022, Dr. An Steegen is part of the Supervisory board of ASML, as well as of the Technology Committee.

Dr. An Steegen has been nominated to co-CEO as of October 1, 2021.

Willem Fransoo

Director IR Barco

Willem Fransoo (°1979) is Director Investor Relations at Barco. He holds a master’s degree in Bioscience Engineering from Ghent University and a Master Degree in General Management from the Vlerick Business School.

He started his career as business analyst in a Belgian family office. In 2008 he joined Thomas Cook, where he held several roles in strategy and transformation, first at Thomas Cook Belgium and later in the Thomas Cook Group.

In March 2020, he joined Barco as Global Program Manager Commercial Excellence. In this role, he led the CRM 2.0 digital transformation program.

Mr. Fransoo was appointed Director Investor Relations at Barco on September 1st, 2022.

Michiel Langezaal

CEO Fastned

Michiel (°1972) is CEO and founder of the European fast charging company Fastned.

He graduated from the Technical University of Delft as a mechanical engineer. After working as a consultant at AT Kearney and as a new business developer at Epyon/ABB, Michiel started Fastned in 2012, together with co-founder Bart Lubbers. Their mission was to give freedom to electric drivers and accelerate the transition to sustainable mobility.

Under Michiel’s leadership, Fastned has since become a European leader in fast charging, operating a network of fast charging stations across six European countries.

Fastned is listed on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange.

Caro De Brouwer

Director Network Development Fastned

Caro (°1991) is Director Network Development at Fastned, and in charge of the roll-out of the network of fast-charging stations across Europe.

Caro joined the fast-growing Dutch company - famous for its stations with the iconic canopies - four years ago. She was responsible for Fastned’s successful entry into the Belgian market. Since then, Caro has contributed to the company's growth strategy and market positioning.

Caro plays a crucial role in some of Fastned's leading projects, such as shop development, inner-city charging hubs and new country expansion. Caro studied energy engineering at KU Leuven and Imperial College.

She has nine years of experience in strategy, business development and innovation management and worked previously for Roland Berger and Ørsted Wind Power in Brussels, Copenhagen and The Hague.

Veerle De Wit

CFO EVS

Mrs. Veerle De Wit (representing a srl) is the CFO of EVS since 2021.

She previously served as CFO for the technology services company NTT Belgium (€320 million revenue business) and has held various finance and management positions at IBM where she started her career in 1998 and served as CFO from 2012 to 2016.

She holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Lessius Hogeschool Antwerpen.

Philippe Delfosse

Investment Strategist KBC AM

Philippe Delfosse is van opleiding master in de economische wetenschappen aan de KU Leuven.

Philippe kwam in dienst bij KBC Private Banking in 2006 als adviseur aandelenhandel in het kantoor in Brugge. Hij werkte voordien bij diverse financiële instellingen in het binnen- en buitenland.

In januari 2016  werd Philippe de aandelenstrateeg voor KBC Private Banking in Leuven.

In september 2021 maakte hij de overstap naar KBC Asset Management  als aandelenstrateeg binnen het strategieteam.

Philippe was coördinator voor VFB van 1991 tot 2000 en richtte in die periode het VFB Trefpunt Gent op.
Sedert 1986 is Philippe in de ban van de aandelenmarkten en bouwde op die manier heel wat expertise op.
Sinds kort is Philippe Delfosse ook medeverantwoordelijk voor het VFB Trefpunt Brussel.

Bram Vanhevel

Als master in de politieke wetenschappen (Universiteit Gent), houder van de FSMA-erkenning voor het advanced programma in portfolio management en kandidaat voor de programma's ‘Chartered Financial Analyst’ (Level II) en ‘Financial Risk Management’, werkte Bram Vanhevel gedurende vele jaren als international fund accountant bij een grote beursbank.

Door zijn passie voor financiële markten trad Bram Vanhevel in juni 2021 toe tot Leleux Associated Brokers, als financieel analist.

Daarvoor was hij aan de slag als financieel redacteur bij Cash/Moneytalk/Inside Beleggen en als beursgast op Kanaal Z.

Kris Kippers

Head van de sell-side research Degroof Petercam

Kris Kippers heb je ongetwijfeld al opgemerkt op Kanaal Z, waar hij regelmatig te gast is om commentaar te geven bij het beursnieuws.

Hij startte zijn carrière als sell side equity analist bij Petercam en stapte in 2014 over naar KBC Securities (Institutional Equity Sales). Zijn ervaring als analist Food/Beverages bracht hem waarschijnlijk naar de ‘andere kant’. In 2016 ging hij namelijk aan de slag als Investor Relations Manager bij Greenyard. Na een tussenstop bij Kepler Cheuvreux als Equity Research Analyst is hij teruggekeerd naar zijn oude stal en is hij momenteel Co-Head Equity Research bij Degroof Petercam.

Hij behaalde een Master in Economie aan de Hogeschool-Universiteit Brussel (nu KU Leuven) en een MBA aan de Vlerick Management School.

Bart De Wever

Voorzitter NVA en Burgemeester van Antwerpen

Bart De Wever is algemeen partijvoorzitter sinds 2004. Sinds 1 januari 2013 is Bart ook burgemeester van Antwerpen.

Hij werd in 1970 geboren in Mortsel, in een politiek geëngageerde familie. Vandaag woont hij in Deurne, samen met zijn vrouw en hun vier kinderen.

Bart studeerde geschiedenis aan de Ufsia en de KU Leuven. Tijdens zijn studententijd was hij lid van het Liberaal Vlaams Studenten Verbond en van het Katholiek Vlaams Hoogstudentenverbond. Hij was ook hoofdredacteur van “Tegenstroom” en “Ons Leven”.

Als assistent aan de KU Leuven publiceerde hij verscheidene bijdragen, o.m. in de “Nieuwe Encyclopedie van de Vlaamse Beweging” en in “Wetenschappelijke Tijdingen”. Ook aan het boek “Vlaamse vaandels, rode petten. Honderd jaar Katholiek Vlaams Hoogstudentenverbond” werkte hij mee. Verder schreef hij columns voor verschillende kranten. Deze columns en essays werden gebundeld in de boeken “Het kostbare weefsel. Vijf jaar maatschappijkritiek” en  “Werkbare waarden”. “Vrijheid en oprechtheid”, schreef hij samen met de Britse psychiater Theodore Dalrymple.

Bart De Wever onderbrak zijn academische loopbaan om voltijds met politiek bezig te kunnen zijn. Hij werd in 1996 districtsraadslid voor de Volksunie in Berchem. Na het uiteenspatten van de VU lag hij mee aan de basis van de N-VA.
In 2004 veroverde hij een zitje in het Vlaams parlement. Drie jaar later werd hij Kamerlid, maar in 2009 verhuisde hij opnieuw naar de Vlaamse volksvertegenwoordiging. Tussen 2010 en 2012 was hij ook gemeenschapssenator.

Bart De Wever wil van de N-VA de volkspartij van Vlaanderen maken die het opneemt voor de belangen van 6,5 miljoen Vlamingen. Daarvoor is een grondige omslag nodig, zowel sociaal-economisch als staatkundig, door de invoering van een confederale structuur. Samenhorigheid en verantwoordelijkheid zijn daarbij de sleutelwoorden.
Bart De Wever is een “fan” van Julius Caesar en weet zowat alles wat met het Oude Rome te maken heeft. Zijn Latijnse uitspraken zijn legendarisch, zoals “Nil Volentibus Arduum” (Voor zij die willen is niets onmogelijk, NVA).
